TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster [Royal Society]
Date18 January 1888
DescriptionRix has eleven copies of the Minutes of Council for 27 October 1881 which contains the report Foster wants copies of, and notes that this will provide one each for the sub-committees. Suggests that the preliminary table of grants which Foster proposes will be easy to make, but should wait until they meet the next day. Rix also notes the enclosure of a letter to Mr Balfour [not included] for Foster to sign and also perhaps add an explanatory note.
