TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Sir Frederick Bramwell, Honorary secretary of the Royal Institution
Date23 January 1888
DescriptionThe President and Council of the Royal Society propose to invite Professor Wilhelm Kühne of Heidelberg to deliver this year's Cromian Lecture. As a consequence of their expectation of an audience too large to be accommodated by the Society's meeting room, Rix inquires whether they might make use of the Theatre of the Royal Institution on 28 May 1888 at 9pm.
