TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Attfield

DescriptionRix is unsure as to how Attfield acquired a cloth copy of 'Philosophical Transactions' of which each Fellow of the Royal Society receives one. To avoid spoiling the set at the Pharmaceutical Society, Rix has granted permission to supply cloth copies, but this will not be repeated in future. The publisher issues covers at a price of 1 shilling and 6 pence, which will ensure the uniformity of the series.
