DescriptionIn response to Howard's letter of 27 March, Rix notes he sent a receipt for the cheque by return of post. The Royal Society is sorry to hear about the poor grazing [at Mablethorpe], and sends its hopes that next year will be better. Rix also states that they are unable to assist with regard to his complaint about having received no rent on the seventeen acre field. Howard may deduct property tax from his half yearly payment.
