TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Secretary, Army and Navy Labour Corps, 62 Whitcomb Street
Date30 April 1888
DescriptionEnquires as to whether their services extend beyond window cleaning, as the Royal Society require a man to fetch and carry between 9am and 10.30pm on the day of their Soirée on 9 May 1888. Rix's preference would be for them to use one of two of the men used to clean the Society's windows, but expresses uncertainty as to whether they are employed for work beyond window cleaning. An early answer would be appreciated.
