Description | In reference to George Downing Liveing and James Dewar's paper, Rix can announce that the paper and engraved plates are ready for press, and so can be assigned plate numbers. Their photographic plate will be plate 4, with the headline to imitate as closely as possible the specimen plate, and the mount to match that of Rix's pattern.
Rix asks for 975 copies of the plate, which are to be delivered to Messrs Harrison & Sons. A speedy delivery is requested, so as not to delay the publication of the subsequent papers. |
