DescriptionEncloses plans of the arrangement of the plates for Festing's paper on the measurement of reflected colours [not included], and states that he does not know whether they should go to him or Captain William Abney, but that he wants to know whether they are acceptable. Rix hopes to get them in progress before he leaves town. He also notes that the engraver assures him that the reductions proposed will not obscure the details.
