DescriptionIn reference to their letter of 26 July, Rix returns the eleven London & North Western Railway transfers with the seal now also attested by the President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Royal Society, in addition to the transfers sent to him on 24 July relating to the Handley Fund and the Scientific Relief Fund. For future reference, Rix wishes to know whether it is now necessary to have three or five signatures, providing two examples of numbers of those to attest with their signatures by the seal, and those to witness the signatures.
