Description | Rix has heard from Miss Woodward and spoken to Mr Wesley regarding the Royal Society Treasurer's proposal to offer Woodward four and a half guineas for each plate, on the condition that Mr Wesley is given his usual rate of four guineas a plate and is allowed to select the simpler plates. Woodward is to do seven quarto plates and one folding plate, and Wesley for nine quarto plates.
Wesley is ready to begin work, and on his behalf Rix asks Seeley to pick a date to meet at the Museum. |
