Rix enquires why announcements appear in The Times newspaper reporting telegrams from Thomson and Browne [ Joseph Thomson and Harold Crichton Browne] to the Royal Society and the Royal Geographical, when the Royal Society never receives them. Rix enquires as to whether the Royal Geographical Society receive them.
