TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to A Aguilera, 4 Aldgate, E.C.
Date11 October 1888
DescriptionAcknowledges receipt of Aguilera's letter of 9 October to the President of the Royal Society, George Gabriel Stokes. Rix however notes that the quadrature of the circle is not a subject that the Society includes among the subjects read at their meetings or published in 'Transactions of the Royal Society'. Aguilera's letter will be shown to Stokes at the next opportunity, but Rix cannot hold out any hope of the subject being considered for discussion or publication.
