DescriptionHas received Williamson's plates that morning. As Williamson had expressed a wish to see revises to his text, Rix will send a copy providing it is returned quickly and extensive alterations are not made, as the Royal Society wish it to go to press as soon as possible. Queries to be answered are indicated with a question mark.

A postscript mentions Walter White was enquiring after Williamson, and an annotation at the top of the page reads 'The plates are returned with the text for reference'.
