DescriptionSir Michael Foster wishes to inform him that he is not fully justified in going forward with the publication of [Jagdis Chunder] Bose's paper in its present form, but has asked Sir John Burdon-Sanderson to give his opinion on verbal alterations Foster has suggested. If Burdon-Sanderson and Bose agree to the changes, then publication can go ahead.

Sends a letter from Sir George Stokes, whose opinion, although given under a misapprehension, may still be useful.
