Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Arthur William Rucker, [Fellow of the Royal Society] |
Date | 11 November 1901 |
Description | Queries if it is any use sending Rucker a paper upon which he wants authority before going ahead [with [rinting]. The paper is by [George Frederick Charles] Searl and Bedford on magnetic hysteresis, who have added a considerable amount of undated matter for which they say they had Rucker's authority. Harrison however can find no letter copies in the letter book. Harrison's chief doubt is to the propriety of including the expense of cutting up the proof to such an extent as the authors propose. Asks if he should send Rucker the paper or get someone else to decide on the question. |
