TitleCopy letter from A H White, to Dr James Fairlie Gemmill, [Fellow of the Royal Society], Glasgow University
Date29 August 1901
DescriptionIn answer to Gemmill's application to have his manuscript on monstrosities in the trout, the Society's regulations are that no manuscript should go out of the house without special authority. If Gemmill really requires the paper at Glasgow Harrison will apply for authority to send it. Notes it would be simpler to have someone copy the paper or relevant sections. If he must have the paper in Glasgow Harrison asks Gemmill to write giving particulars of what it is required for. Harrison will forward such a letter to Sir M Foster.
