DescriptionThe Council of the Royal Society, on the recommendation of special Committees have resolved to make the triennial allotment of the Gunning Fund to Rivers for the purposes of his proposed expedition to Southern India for experimental psychological observations, and studies of the social organization of the Todas and other Hill tribes. The sum voted amounts to about £120.
