Title | Copy letter from A H White, to Dr Dukinfield Henry Scott, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 9 August 1901 |
Description | The Society has received Scott's letter with proof of plates. The delay with Frost is more than vexatious and the Society has decided not to give Frost any more work. Frost was previously employed as his prices were decidedly lower whilst the quality of his work had appeared well up to average. The Society naturally regrets not giving the work to the firm Scott suggested.
If Scott approvers they could tell Frost that they will not accept delivery of the work after a certain date. White will today send on Scott's proofs with a letter to Frost. Advises Scott to send Foster a 'sharp' letter as well, advising him that unless the work is delivered by such a date Scott will urge the Society to leave the work on his hands. |
