DescriptionThe connection between the Royal Society and Lord Armstrong was such that, although the Royal Society is not in the habit of subscribing to memorials, President and Council have resolved to make a contribution of £10 as a token of their sympathy with the effort to recognize Lord Armstrong's services to his country and to science.
