TitleCopy letter from Sir Michael Foster, to The President of the Royal Geographical Society

DescriptionFollowing on from his letter on 23 January, Foster informs them that President and Council have now received a letter from Sir Francis Mowatt, which he is forwarding [no enclosures]. President and Council are not prepared to context the claim made in the letter.

Subject to such provision they consent to the resolution contained in the President of the Royal Geographical Society's letter of 10 December, but any sum which may accrue to the Royal Society will be added, not to its private funds, but to the Government Grant Fund.
