DescriptionPresident and Council have been informed by William de Wiveleslie Abney that the Board of Education have informed the Under Secretary of the nomination of George Howard Darwin and John Milne as British representatives at the International Seismological Congress.

Asks that they are made aware of the concluding sentences of Foster's letter of 4 December, stating that the participation of Britain in any International Seismological undertaking must be on the condition that the plan and organization of that undertaking is approved by the International Association of Academies.
