DescriptionThe Royal Society has undertaken to publish in 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' the magnetic and meteorological observations of the Natural Antarctic Expedition. Foster has been directed by President and Council to express the hope that the Meteorological Office will be able to prepare the meteorological observations in the manner indicated in Shaw's letter, namely the remuneration requested for the assistance of Bernacchi will be proceeded through the Royal Society.
