Title | Copy letter sent from Arthur Geikie, to W Durnford, King's College, Cambridge |
Date | 18 March 1904 |
Description | President and Council send cordial thanks to Durnford for his letter on behalf of the Cambridge University Studies Syndicate expressing their willingness to fall in with the request to take the subject of the letter into their consideration.
The question of entering in more detail into the subject was very fully considered at the time the letter was drawn up, and Council thought it desirable to request that the Universities would themselves take action with a view to improving the present conditions. Council believes Fellows interested in education would assist the Syndicate. |
