TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor and Archibald Geikie, to Dr Richard Tetley Glazebrook, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date28 October 1904
DescriptionGlazebrook's letter on the reduction of the Antarctic Magnetic Observations has been considered by Council. They agree Bernacchi should co-operate in the reduction, as most of the observations were taken by him, but expenses must be kept in limits. They also concur in his suggestion of employing Bernacchi for two or three months. If he is to leave before that period, it is to be presumed Glazebrook will still have his goodwill in the completion of the reduction of his observations. His co-operation could be regularized by being appointed a committee member in charge.

If this is not possible, then it would be desirable if Glazebrook and Charles Chree make the best arrangement they can, subject to it not exceeding £400.
