DescriptionSir M Foster has directed Harrison to acknowledge Blanford's letter to him. The letter Blanford received was a copy of a letter circulated to all members of Council with the idea that one or another might chance to be in America at the time of the installation of the President [North-Western University, Evanston] and thus able to represent the Royal Society. The matter is of no special importance.
