Description | The Royal Society has received through the Foreign Office a communication from the German Embassy, forwarding the enclosed resolution of the third meeting of the International Committee for Scientific Aeronautics. Quotes the resolution which states that the Committee thinks the co-operation of the British and Indian Governments in the exploration of the upper atmosphere by the means of balloons and kites, more particularly within the tropics, forms a most important part of their work. Is directed to invite any observations which the Meteorological Society of Scotland may desire to make to the Royal Society on the subject. |
