TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to W James Adams, Easy Croydon
Date27 November 1902
DescriptionIn reply to Adams' note, this years award of the Hughes medal is the first, various circumstances having influenced the Council not to make an award last year - the dies for striking the medal were not finished and the first year's income of the fund has to be drawn upon to pay for the design and dies. The balance of this year's income, after providing for the cost of the medal, will probably amount to about £98, which will be payable to the medallist for the year.
