DescriptionHas been asked by Sir M Foster to acknowledge receipt of Scantlebury's letter of 26 October, apologizes for not replying sooner. Asks to know more precisely what it is that Scantlebury wishes to be done in recognition of Mr Pearson's scientific labours. Notes there are regulations which govern the candidature for Fellowship. If Scantlebury has in mind some other action on the part of the Society, Harrison asks for a statement of the proposal.
