Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir William Huggins, President of the Royal Society |
Date | 27 July 1903 |
Description | Professor [Joseph] Larmor has written to Huggins regarding the publication of Huggins' paper on radium and asks Harrison to communicate the state of affairs with regard to the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' at present. The Society are currently making up a number of 'Proceedings' and have quite enough material for another number. If Huggins wishes to hold over his paper for a week or two, it would seem hardly worth while to keep back publication of the number of 'Proceedings' currently being made up, since by the time Huggins' paper is ready, they will have another of 'Proceedings' practically ready to come out. |
