DescriptionReferring to the assignment of the triennial interest of the Gunning Fund, made to Rivers on 24 February 1902, for the purpose of assisting the expenses of Rivers' expedition to Southern India, Harrison encloses a cheque for £7, being a balance of interest due, which brings the total assignment up to £120. The cheque would have been sent earlier, if the Society had been aware of the date of Rivers' return to England.
