TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Michael Foster, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date1 February 1904
DescriptionHarrison sends thanks for Foster's note and card for the House. He will look out for Foster in the Central Lobby at 7.30, but notes that he intends to arrive earlier in the afternoon and hopes he will be able to get a place again after dinner. If Foster plans to visit the Royal Society tomorrow, Harrison asks that he instruct him on these points.

On the basis of Foster's note about the Mauritius letter, he has opened one from the Colonial Office which arrived that morning addressed to Foster and has discovered it is the one he referred to. As advised, he has sent a memorandum to Edwin Ray Lankester about the matter. He further asks for guidance on how to proceed with Government letters still bearing Foster's name.
