TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Editor of Nature
Date17 March 1904
DescriptionHarrison responds to the editor's note of 16th March, and explains that the list in draft was sent to their journal at the same time as to other papers, namely immediately following the Council meeting on 25 February. The Council meeting at which the selection is made is always held on the day of Nature's publication, Thursday, and so it would be impossible to prevent it appearing in other publications first, without withholding it from them for a week.
