In reply to your letter of the 5th April, I have had the pleasure in obtaining permission for you to reproduce the Plate you mention in the essay on Astronomy in your "Social England". I presume of course you have already obtained the consent of the author of the Paper, which is a condition precedent to the Royal Society's sanction.
