DescriptionA letter is enclosed regarding sleeping sickness from the India Office [not included], which Bruce is to return once he has read it.

A manuscript annotation explains that Harrison has been unable to persuade Professor Edwin Ray Lankester to hold a Committee Meeting before the end of the month. He will write to Bruce when is able, but is currently overburdened with work.
