Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Sir Michael Foster, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 31 October 1904 |
Description | At the Royal Society Council last Thursday it was resolved to approve the proposal to form an Advisory Board of four members to assist the Indian Government in investigating plague. Foster, and John Rose Bradford, were nominated to represent the Royal Society, with two representatives of the Lister Institute. The India Office and Lister Institute have been informed of the Council's action in this matter. Geikie sincerely hopes Foster is mending. If warmest sympathy could do him good, then a good many of his enquiring friends should help him. |
