DescriptionHe will doubtless be interested to hear that the Royal Society have this year awarded the Sylvester Medal to his distinguished countryman, Professor Georg Cantor, for his mathematical observations. It is hoped the Ambassador will be present at the distribution of the medals, to receive it on Cantor's behalf.
