TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Francis Robert Japp, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date7 January 1890
DescriptionRix encloses the form of certificate as requested [not included] and a printed list of certificates. He does not believe that the question of Foreign Members of the Royal Society signing has been raised in his time, but believes that there can be no harm in a certificate being signed by a Foreign Member, providing it is also signed by six Fellows. If Japp wishes to have the question formally decided, then Rix will submit it to the President.
