TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr William Huggins, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date10 May 1889
DescriptionRix encloses the original and two proofs [not included] of Huggins' Vega figure. He states that the "fine tint process" is half the cost of the photogravure block, but if he judges the latter to be better then they will not mind the expense. The reversal of the photogravure block would be corrected for printing.

Rix asks that Huggins express a preference. Messrs Waterlow have stated the subject to be difficult.
