TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr [George Edward] Dobson, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date17 June 1889
DescriptionRix has only just heard from the President of the Royal Society, George Gabriel Stokes, concerning Dr Little. Although they would like to invite 'a man of his distinction' to their Soirée, they cannot as they have already declined so many applications, due to the number of cards sent exceeding the spaces available.
