|Title||Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Rev Stephen Joseph Perry, Fellow of the Royal Society|
|Date||25 July 1889|
|Description||Rix has received the proof of Mr Masterman's plate without remark, so concludes that it is approved. The President [George Gabriel Stokes] saw it today, and has suggested that it be made slightly less definite, and Rix asks for Perry's opinion on this point. He sends it together with the original by this post. Rix further notes that he proposes putting the writing at the bottom of the plate rather than in the text.|
Rix sends thanks for the address of the depot where he has obtained a copy of Father Rickaby's pamphlet.
