Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor John Milne, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 20 February 1905 |
Description | Has received a favorable report on Mr Oldham's paper on 'The Rate of Transmission of the Guatemala Earthquake of 19 April, 1902'. The Secretaries consider that Oldham's paper, which is estimated to form 12 printed pages, is too short for separate publication as a 'Philosphical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' paper and think it would be more appropriately published in the new series of the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society'. Asks if Milne agrees with the Secretaries. A proof of a paper, set up for the new series of 'Proceedings' is enclosed for information [not enclosed]. |
