DescriptionAcknowledges the Superintendent's letter of 24 February relating to the proposed conference for the discussion of the serious position created by the continued spread of Sleeping Sickness in Uganda and neighboring districts. The President and Council would be very glad if the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs could make it convenient to receive a deputation from the Royal Society and the Foreign Office, to confer on this subject, on any day convenient to him before the middle of March, excepting Thursdays.
