TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Walter Frank Raphael Weldon, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date15 April 1905
DescriptionDr Bastian, whose paper 'On the Occurrence of Certain Ciliated Infusoria within the Eggs of a Rotifer, Considered from the Point of View of Heterogenesis' was referred to the Zoology Committee, has been enquiring whether any decision as to the publication of the paper has been arrived at.

The paper was referred to Weldon by Professor [Edwin Ray] Lankester and Mr Sedgwick, and on their recommendation accepted for reading and the abstract authorized for the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. The fate of the full paper has not been settled yet and it will be necessary for the Zoology Committee to decide this. Asks if Weldon wishes a meeting of his Committee to be convened to consider the paper.
