TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir James Dewar, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date29 May 1905
DescriptionJust before the meeting of Council for the selection of the 15 candidates for election, Dewar wrote about the candidature of Mr Hadfield, whose certificate had not been re-suspended, and now that the election is over, Harrison explains what he did in the matter but that he had no power to go outside the statutes. Is sorry nothing could be done. It now rests with Hadfield's supporters to get out a new certificate for him. Sends congratulations on Dewar's recovery from serious illness.
