DescriptionWith reference to Carlier's enquiry of 31 May, the question of the publication of the abstract of his paper 'On Changes observable in the Liver Cells during Digestion, and their relation to Hepatic Secretion', has been considered by the Sectional Committee to which the paper was referred and the Committee do not consider it expedient to recommend publication of the abstract in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'.
