| Description | The manuscript of Francis H A Marshall's papers and William A Jolly's on 'Contributions to the Physiology of Mammalian Reproduction' was returned to the authors with a copy of the first referee's suggestions as to abbreviations et cetera. The manuscript has now been received with some of the referee's alterations carried out but the authors state that after careful consideration they have been unable to devise tables in which to summaries some of the facts. The first referee's report is enclosed for the Chairman's information [not enclosed]. The second referee suggested no modifications in the text, but suggested some of the illustrations might be reduced slightly. The other illustrations in his opinion would not bear reproduction. Asks if the Chairman will say if printing of the paper as revised may proceed in the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]'. |
