| Description | Thanks the Messrs for their letter of the previous day regarding the instructions given to the Messrs messenger. The Clerk whom the the Messrs described as the Royal Society's cashier had no authority whatever to give such instructions, and in future Harrison will be much obliged by the Messrs informing there messengers and having it noted that no instructions relating to banking transactions of the Society are authoritative except from the Treasurer [A B Kempe] or Harrison himself. |
