TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Joseph Larmor, Secretary, Royal Society
Date11 December 1905
DescriptionFollowing an enquiry from Richard Tetley Glazebrook, Harrison has been trying to compile an accurate list of the National Physical Laboratory nominations, and encloses for Larmor's confirmation and completion a statement being sent to Glazebrook that day. It does not completely match the list sent by Larmor, and he notes the inclusion of Kaye Gray as a mistake as he is already on the General Board, and his recollection that Sankey is preferred to Mallock. The four vacancies on the Executive Committee are to be filled by Crompton, George Thomas Beilby in place of Forbes Carpenter, Kaye Gray and New in place of the deceased Sir Edward Carbutt.
