TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Richard Tetley Glazebrook, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date26 February 1906
DescriptionHarrison explains that, while the minute of the Physics and Chemistry Committee do not mention a particular length for the abstract of Major Lenox-Conyngham's paper, they did resolve to recommend an 'enlarged Abstract' of the paper to be published in Proceedings of the Royal Society, as the full paper would be better suited to the Memoirs of the Geodetic Survey of India than Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society. Harrison has shown Glazebrook's letter to Joseph Larmor, who thinks the abstract was intended to be five or six pages at most.
