Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir William Henry Mahoney Christie, Fellow of the Royal Society, Astronomer Royal |
Date | 22 May 1906 |
Description | Harrison writes about Observatories Committee business, enclosing a copy of a letter received from the India Office, concerning the appointment of a third assistant to the Meteorological Reporter to the Government of India, and copies of the reports of the Bombay and Madras Observatories for 1905 for submission to the committee.
Sir John Eliot, writing to Professor Joseph Larmor in April, stated that he hoped he would not need to return to England for a meeting of the Committee until well into June. Harrison asks that Christie suggest a possible date. |
