DescriptionAcknowledges Gray's letter of the previous day and with reference to his printed request of 16 June to the Royal Society to take part in a deputation to the Prime Minister on the subject of an anthropometrical survey of school children and others, the Council do not see their way to participate officially in the movement, which lies somewhat outside the immediate scope of the Society.
